I know this is mostly a nonwing hangout but I have to say last night at Santa Maria Speedway was a lot of fun. Track was faaaaast in the 11's in qualifying. Yeah they only got 15 cars but with it being the month of money in the midwest its understandable. TK was racing with the Outlaws, Allard was on his way back there, Zimmerly raced the twin features at Knoxville and Bud Kaeding was at Indiana Speedweek. The cars that showed up were good and put on a show in the feature. Lil' Kyle Miyata Larson started in the 10th row and finished 5th but the real story was at the front. Sean Becker won the race on a last lap backstretch pass of Andy Gregg and it had the crowd pumped! Sean Becker is an awesome driver who should be racing with the tour full time. He is a 100% class act. He won at Chico on friday then doubled up here in Santa Maria on saturday not a bad showing. All in all a great night of racing with blistering speeds on track. Thanks to all the teams that towed down, it is MUCH appreciated.
