Did anyone else notice getting pelted at La Salle last night? I'm not talking about mud, but rocks and large clods. I got hit twice, once in the head and busted my headphones another time in the hand. One guy in front of me got his chin busted open by a rock, another guy got hit by a rock about the size of walnut, and the guy next to me got hit in the arm with a good sized rock or clod.

I've been to La Salle before and never noticed it being that bad and the guy sitting next to me was a La Salle regular and he said he had never seen it that bad before either. Not bashing here, just wondered if anyone else experienced it or knows what the deal was?

Sounds like turn 4 at Chico, CA. The worst place I have ever sat for getting hit by track debris. Way too low of a fence. It sucked seeing an older lady get bloodied up from a chunk of clay that hit her in the head during the Gold Cup. You've got rocks, clay chunks and huge ribbons of clay that fly over like seriously big ribbons (10pounders). If an incident like Danny Smiths recent stuck throttle were to happen at Chico it would be a bloodbath. I refuse to sit down low at the track anymore. Way way sketchy.
