I'm sorry to hear the loss of Bob Geldner.

Condolences from Ryan Voss and Jim Schatz at the 3D race team.

I have the following information: The Wake will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 in St. Peter. Location unknown. Funeral is Friday at 11:00am. Again, location unknown. Perhaps someone can add more information.

Our hearts go out to the Geldner family and friends. We all lost another person whose work, life and passion have made this sport we love and want to do still possible to chase.

Rest in peace,
The Koubas

Here is a photo I took of Bobby at a very dusty and windy World of Outlaw show at Sunset Speedway near Omaha in April of 1982.

Having lived in Minnesota and Iowa, I got to see Bobby race at many tracks in the upper midwest in the 70s and 80s.

Truly one of the legends of early day supermodified racing at Jackson and later with sprint cars. Thoughts and prayers with the Geldner family at this time.
