Thoughts on the Kings Royal this year as far as cars? 15 or so WoO drivers plus 15 or so ASCoC? Plus Dave Blaney, Kerry Madsen?, Tyler Walker? any others?? I wonder if there will be enough cars to run the traditonal Kings Royal format. I was trying to find the format online but could not. Seems like it goes something like 40 something starters, Six heats (that's all I remember). It's coming up quick, can't wait.

My guess is the car count will be similar to last year with nearly 50 cars and 30 NRA (360) cars.
There are some NorCal drivers coming this year; TK, Jonathan Allard and Zack Zimmerely. Tyler Walker announced his knee will be ready for the KR weekend as well.
You can add in Australians Brooke Tatnell, Kerry Madsen and Mathew Reed.
Other non full-time WoO drivers include Dave & Dale Blaney, Daryn Pittman, Tim Schaffer, Stevie Smith, Justin Henderson, Randy Hannagan and several others from Ohio & All Stars.

I will say Attica and Fremont locals will include Chris Andrews and Brock Mayes. Craig Mintz??? Caleb Helms??? Travis Philo??? Lee Jacobs is a deffinite and so is Dean. Also count on Rob Chaney to show. Southern Ohio guys should include Todd Kane, Jimmy Stinson, Jim Nier and Nick Neighbor. I will say 42 cars on Friday and 49 on Saturday.

Why doesn't Bryon Reed run Eldora? He could make the A main and seems to run up front at all Ohio tracks.

Byron Reed
Byron was hurt there twice, and his family doens't feel they need to race this rtack, he races Fremont & attica weekly and regularly wins.
Kings Royal Format
2 fast timers who do not transfer, tag the A main field. There are 6 heats, with 3 transfering from each, I think the invert is 6. Then 4 cars from the B main transfer.

I was just assuming there would be upwards of 15 since it was a series.. Don't really follow AllStars to much but I though there use to be a few of them..

If you count All Stars & Ohio drivers (most are part-time All Stars racers) than yes, you have 15. No need to be negative on here.

As far as fulltime drivers, the All-Star's don't have much to show esp. after they decided to screw over Blaney. Nothing against Shaffer, but hope I Dale continues to spank Webb's bunch the rest of the year.
