I couldn't agree more with you Stan. Just to show all the 410 people how lame their argument is look at the June 19th, 2010 results from Knoxville Raceway. Clint Gardner set quick time in the 360's at 16.260. Ian Madsen was quick time in the 410's at 16.532. I'm surprised they all didn't get up and go home never to return. 360's have closed the gap. Sprint car racing is great no matter what size motor they have under the hood. Some of the best racing I've seen at Knoxville this year has been in the 305 class.

360s are even faster than the Knoxville home team? Pretty much says it all....
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Great job Stan! Now if we can get those silly wings (crutch) of these great race cars. I love speed but I love side by side racing better. Most of the great drivers we talk about ran wingless.

Stan had a great post and now all the experts are out -and now someone wants to start the wing/non-wing debate?! I've driven all four, not much 410 and not much non-wing, but they all are tough to drive well. That 410 winged car that looks locked down, isn't. Your focus better be 100%, you're going so fast in one that driving at your normal, down-the-road level of focus will have you in the fence, without any traffic around. A well set up non-wing car can be a Cadillac to drive and in my limited experience if you throw one into a corner, bad things will happen. I've flipped both and would rather not flip either. Take your hat off and salute anyone who drives any of them, even the guy getting lapped in his heat race. They're still going faster than most folks can dream of. Ride in the pace truck at Knoxville, Wally runs about 50 on that final pace lap and it feels like you're flying - and the race cars aren't even at half throttle.
