Looking for a place to race? Well, as of this posting at about 11:30am, Grayson County Speedway ( Located near the Red River in far north Texas between Sherman and Paris Texas ) IS STILL GOING TO RACE TONIGHT ( Saturday ). Call 661-205-9933 for details on what race divisions they have and rules. This is a two day show with fireworks for both nights.

I just got off the phone with the promoter and he said the track surface is not as much of a concern as the entrence to the facilities. The raceway got rain. But not enough to hurt the track surface seriously he feels. Those of you that have ever been to this track know that the entrence is the biggest issue when rain falls.

The Race Car Roll over Simulator is also scheduled to be at the track. Racers need to check this interesting simulator out and learn some good escape tips in the event of a roll over or fire.

As of this morning. Racers from near and far have contacted the track about this event. Good car count is expected since the entire state close most raceways. Fans are in for a real trteat at this track if the show makes it.

Here in Muskogee it is still a very light rain and has been all day. I just drove out to Thunderbird and there were cars pulling in the gate and it looked like they were still planning to try it, it is not looking good weather wise, but my fingers are crossed.

I just came back from Thunderbird and they are working very hard to get the race track in shape. They ARE racing tonight so if you are in the area you need to come out and support them. They are busting their asses to get it in shape, it should be a fun night!
