DAVID CARDEY GOES FOR FOUR IN A ROW THIS SATURDAY AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY!
(JULY 1, 2010, RIVERSIDE, CA) David Cardey will be seeking his fourth straight win in as many outings when the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series returns to Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday night, July 3rd, in the Annual Firecracker 30 presented by the City of Perris and Budweiser. Spectator gates will open at 3:00 PM and the first race will be at 7:00. Joining Cardey and his fellow USAC/CRA competitors will be the California Lightning Sprint Cars and the biggest and best fireworks show in Riverside County.
Cardey, who sandwiched a win at Victorville in legendary Don Blair's #12 between his last two wins at The PAS, will be behind the wheel of his own red #59 sprint car this Saturday. While the main focus is racing, David will have other duties before the racing begins. He and the other drivers will pose for photos and sign autographs for the fans and will participate in fun and games with children including water balloon toss and three-legged races. Cardey warmed up for that portion of the show with a trip to Camp Snoopy at Knott's Berry Farm on Thursday.
Good news on the ride front. In addition to his regular ride in the USAC/CRA series, David will try to make it two wins in a row at Victorville Auto Raceway in Don Blair's car on July 10th. In addition, he is actively seeking a ride for the July 17th ASCS race at The PAS.
