Our benighted city leaders want to have their sports car race in Bricktown on the July 4th weekend next year. Even if IMSA didn't have anything else to do that weekend....like the Daytona 6 hour.....there's another little problem. Anybody been to Bricktown today? Check out the landyachts at our tax-supported sporting goods store....the place is full of them. So is the Fairgrounds. There's an extended contract in place for one of the larger dog shows in the country for this weekend every year at the Cox Convention Center. Something over 1000 entries and four days of shows....with the finals televised on a tape delay. Someone, I guess, either doesn't know what goes on in Bricktown, or thinks they can just break a set of contracts if it suits them. Is is ignorance or indifference? I don't know and I don't care. It just shows the attitude that prevails with that bunch.

Beware lovers of the Dog Show. That just ain't big league city stuff. Those imbeciles (read F*ck Ups) get a big league race (and I am being sarcastic) in here the dogs are gone. If the powers that be want a big league city, let them move!

Sorry, my patience is shot!

Ok lets see here. I am a dog lover, no jokes lol, and so is my mother. The dog show is one of the few things we can do outside of going to dinner or lunch. The dog show world is a hugh market. In fact the companion animal world spent millions of dollors on stuff for dogs. You know those outfits for the pugs are not cheap.

Speaking of the Daytona race don't you know Galen in the minds of our brilliant leaders Okc is far more attractive than Daytona, Florida.

What they don't want you to know is that the cities where they ran this deal don't want them back. Search and read about what Denver residents (my old stompin' grounds) have to say about their premier Indy race event in the past.
