Dover led early. A battle ensued when Brown came into the picture and he was able to slingshot around the leader on lap four. Roberts made a late bid for second that fell short. Gullion hit the wall hard and flipped in hot laps. He was uninjured.

Heat five (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Wayne Johnson 94 (1*) 2. Garry Lee Maier 11x (2) 3. Clint Garner 40 (4) 4. Jody Rosenboom 6 (6) 5. Scott Winters R19 (9) 6. Toby Chapman 84 (8) 7. Dusty Ballenger 20 (7) 8. Mike Peters 51 (5) 9. Shawn Van Wyhe 99 (3)

W. Johnson beat Maier to turn one and pulled away to win. There was a yellow for a wrench in turn three on lap five.

B main one (started): 1. Jack Dover (1) 2. Chadd (2) 3. Selenke (8) 4. Beaver (5) 5. Grosz (3) / 6. Lund (6) 7. Rosenboom (4) 8. Danley (7) 9. Peters (13) 10. CJ Johnson (14) 11. Lutz (15) 12. Drown (12) 13. Russell (9) 14. Bickett (11) 15. Bourke (10) 16. Ulruh (16) 17. Sundquist (17) DNS – Graf, Montgomery

Dover led flag to flag in the 12 lapper. Selenke moved from row four to third with an early move across the middle of turns three and four. With two to go, Grosz got tapped and did a 360. He kept going to grab the final transfer.

B main two (started): 1. Winters (4) 2. Garner (2) 3. Maier (1) 4. Pinegar (8) 5. Jackson (18) / 6. Freeman (7) 7. JD Johnson (5) 8. Chapman (9) 9. Van Wyhe (17) 10. Ballenger (15) 11. Pace (14) 12. Dorr (10) 13. Glennon (13) 14. Becker (16) 15. Roberts (3) 16. Vogelaar (6) 17. Klabunde (11) 18. Schmitz (12) DNS – Gullion

Before a lap could be completed, Vogelaar spun and collected Klabunde. Both were done. Schmitz retired after his own contact with the wall on the restart. Garner grabbed the early lead. Garner jumped out to an early lead. Roberts got off to a rough start and brought a caution as he slowed. Garner led Maier, Winters, Pinegar and JD Johnson back to green. Jackson was sixth from the rear on the sixth lap when Dorr spun bringing caution. On lap seven, Becker spun. He performed a 720 degree spin the next lap, bringing another yellow, sending him to the pits. The final restart saw Garner leading Winters, Maier, Pinegar and Jackson. Winters snuck under Garner in the final corner for the win in a photo finish. Jackson lost the final transfer with three to go, but gained it back at the line.

A main (started): 1. Swenson (1) 2. Droud (4) 3. W. Johnson (6) 4. Boston (3) 5. Dover (11) 6. Nygaard (7) 7. Winters (12) 8. Ideus (5) 9. Maier (16) 10. Peebles (10) 11. Snyder (8) 12. Grosz (19) 13. Jackson (20) 14. Garner (14) 15. Pinegar (18) 16. Beaver (17) 17. Selenke (15) 18. Sather (9) 19. Chadd (13) 20. Brown (2)

Sather needed a second push and started at the rear. The track was rubber-down, one lane along the bottom. Brown outdragged Swenson to turn one in the non-stop 20-lapper. Brown pulled away until rear-end troubles sidelined him on lap five. Swenson inherited the lead and never looked back. W. Johnson moved around Boston late and made a last ditch effort to go high around Droud with two to go, but got in the marbles and had to dive back low to keep his spot. Swenson cashed $2000.
