Mr. Beckley , I see where your going to run the 305 Sprints at DCRP wingless.
I don't post to often on here anymore but since were all giving opinions of what night to run and wondering what classes you will run at Enid and see you will run a Topless show for 305's in Ks., here is a suggestion from me and heck it does pertain to a class that I participate in (Ya know that all about ME/I world we live in) ,So wondered if you might give some thought of running the Champ Sprints Wingless at Enid Speedway , just came back this past weekend of watching 2 nights of Wingless Sprint Car racing and have formed the opinion that it is almost like SEX ON DIRT and I am particularly fond of both, but only problem is that the ONLY Wingless Sprint racing you have around here requires a 410 or 360 injected motor and unfortunately my money tree out back of the shop just has not quite grown enough to produce the funds needed to purchase one of those yet, So with saying that , I do have a 2 Bar.Sprinter and I believe I can talk my shoe into running some Topless stuff and the only issue I see is that if you do think about it and try them that you schedule it around the ASCS Sooner Stuff as my driver as well as some others who have a 2 Bar. Sprint Cars also have rides in the ASCS Sooner Reg. stuff, Really not sure if other 2 Bar. members would like to participate in going Topless Sprint Car Racing, that remains to be seen.
Before anyone gets their skivvies in a wad , I know BMS runs a wingless deal on Sat. but it requires a Sport Mod motor and unfortunately I do not possess one of those either.
Don't care what night you run on would try to make it if a Topless night for 2 Bar. Champ Sprint show came about , leave the race night up to the rest of the folks or whatever power has that authority to make that call, I ran Enids racetrack earlier in the year , surface is great , not real hard on tires since the new clay has been put down, be around a 2 hr. tow from my house to your place so just one more suggestion , IF you did do this Topless deal , pay enough to start the A to buy me some fuel on the way home and a Subway sandwich or Burger and Car Wash $$ to clean er up and a oil change so if you liked what you saw and decided dam lets have another then I could make a return trip to Enid eith a full belly , fresh oil and a clean race car, Ya know I missed out on the chance to have a burger at the sports bar south of the track with Enid discontinuing it program earlier in the year (heard they were delicious!) and felt I was jipped out of a potential tasty burger in Enid, Ok. So that is also a reason why I am throwing this suggestion out as well, it all may be for nothing , but ya never know till ya try.
One other thing I have found in my travels to Dirt Facilities that ICE TEA needs to be served in the concessions , I am fond of ICE TEA as well and think ALL Dirt Track Facilities should serve it, call Bo Rawdon at Cowtown Speedway or George Welch at Okla. Sports Park as both have the mix just right and they make some very smooth and tasty ICE TEA!!.
Just my Suggestion on a Topless Champ Sprnt show, be something different and heck it just might be exciting as well. Who Knows?

Crap.......sorry I just saw this. I am trying to keep up with these posts and questions.
Non wing takes the motor out of it and yah you are correct it is like sex in the dirt. Awesome racing with slideways action. That is what we are getting and it might be only 12 or so cars but these guys will see the light. The crowds are lovn it and we debuted them at the WOO shows and people loved them.
Maybe in Enid......it's something they have not seen for a while!
