Hi folks, I am willing to start a fund for Danny Smith. I just need to know how many people are willing to donate. I will make a list of everyone who donated and present it to him so he can see the care the sprint car world has for him. If anyone is willing please let me know and I will do it. If not I will just put even more money in a helmet this week. I am willing to do this for those who want to help but are not able to make a show this week. Let me know folks.
Also HoservilleOhio is donating a good amount of money to Danny as well.
Get well soon Danny!!!!!
Also, a list of all who donate will be put up along with a daily count of money raised. If you are sending a check Make it out to Danny Smith.

This Saturday at the Ohio Sprint Speedweek Finale at Fremont Speedway, HoservilleOhio is having a special silent auction with all proceeds going to Danny Smith. Items include so far: an autographed Danny Smith die-cast, an autographed Danny Smith poster, a Byron Reed firesuit, a autographed Tony Stewart photo and more to come. We plan on having 8-10 items total. The auction will be held from 2:00 untill 6:00-6:30 under the covered grandstands. We hope to see you all there to make this a special event for Danny.

4 tickets to the NHRA nationals on Sunday in Noewalk added to the auction. Many more items to be added tonite. Danny is now on his way home from the hospital. He is going to need all of the help we can give him.

New items added to the list. A Dale Blaney helmet, Volumes 1 and 2 of Sprint Car and Midget Magazine (mint condition) and I am picking up something from Rick "The Ohio Traveler" Ferkel. We also are going to have many die casts donated. Folks, you all need to stop on by and help support this. Lets make this a big deal.

In 5 short days we threw together some items and raised $1865.00 for Danny Smith from our auction. Thank you race fans. This shows that sprint car fans are the greatest in the world.
