Charlie Garrett no longer builds NEW engines for any other team but Meyers, but there are a few teams who still run his engines. An example is the #35 team that Justin Henderson runs in Central Pa. However one of his former employees Brian Morrision, now build engines for any new customers under the Morrison Race Engines banner in Spring Grove, Pa.. Lance Dewease and Kerry Madson's new #3 team run his engines. Both drivers/teams had connections with Garrett before his exclusive deal with Jason Meyers.

Morrison does his machine work at Garretts, at least he did. Id put a Morrison engine up against anyone. However my preferance in engine detail and true horsepower is Rider. I have heard they sent an engine to Knoxville last year that dynoed around 950.
Lance Dewease never ran a Garrett engine. When he went to the 30c, that car had already been using Morrison engines for Claybaugh(sp?).

Hooka, Are there any other teams running Morrison Engines that you know of besides Dewease and Madson?

Brian Ellenberger has some also. I think he still has one or two Ott engines also....but there for sale or have been sold.

Thanks, I know last year when he swiched to a JEI chassis, he was running a Garrett engine. I guess anyone who has had connections with Charlie is now FARMED OUT to Brian Morrision.
