Greg Taylor won the regular A main after Troy and Kevin got bumped off right after the start. I think Rick Hendricks was second. Jimmy Crawford was not on hand, but 28 other cars were.
But for the Ascot volk, it was a big night for Gary Howard who put on a pair of clinincs in the senior division after having ostensibly raced at Ventura for the first time in six years two weeks ago. His car owner and teammate Rob Kershaw made it to second in the final lap or two. Exact reverse order of their finishes two weeks ago. There were 16 Senior cars, as I recall.
Thus =44= 360 sprinters at Ventura this evening, including a healthy Don Gansen all the way from San Berdoo. That made for no less =11= separate sprint cars races. My $12.00 was well invested, thank you very much.
George Ito kicked bu## in the dirt karts, btw.

There were more than 20 senior cars which is why they had a semi to get the 16 car field for the main event.

Hi Raj:
On Don Gansen being healthy. If you are referring to the Midget that flipped at The PAS in February and the driver being injured, that was Chris Ganson, not Don. Chris is doing much better, but has not returned to racing yet.
In the dirt karts, it was Steven Ito, not George.
All in all, it sounded like a great night of racing.
