nobody likes change. we are creatures of habit. everybody is complaining about the new layout of eldora. but i know everyone will still go every chance you get. one thing i noticed was that i seen a little bit of 3 wide racing without anyone wrecking. i hope that is a sign of things to come. you cant base friday night on the whole season. also when haud took the lead, he was running in the middle and pulling away. some reason he went back low, and lost the race. i am sure tony got some of the drivers opinions before he made the change.also we all remember a few years back when everyone was blowing tires at the ROYAL, well we all complained then but we are still going back. i think they will get it working. besides, i heard rumor he got the new clay from INDIANA.

sammy1s,
I haven't been to Eldora for two years after attending for 20 years. I got tired of 3 divisions, bringing out the grader at midnight, driving home at 1:00 am. I will go back but not until the shows are run at a decent time schedule.
There are many choices for me to spend my money and racing is only one of them.
Tony and the Outlaws know they need to improve the shows and it is apparent they are trying to make improvements (Florida shows ran well).
Changes take time and I am sure they will figure the track out, but until they do I will sit out Eldora.

Mr. Mac. I agree with you. After last's years Kings Royal farce, I haven't returned. Used to attend every single sprint-car race ther for the last 15 years, but not any longer. Attica and Fremont have our entertainment dollars nowadays. And now I hear of the banking being cut down-Nascrap racing has finally arrived at Eldora.

Crewchief47 it was 10:05 as my brother wanted to know what time it was when they dropped the checkered flag for the mods. You could see the tread of the tire turning black as they were coming out of turn 4 & if they did'nt water it. They probably were going to blow tires in the feature.

The reason Haud went low is because he had to. Just watch when he was running high. Meyers was all over him gaining in an insane amount of distance when he was high. It was the "Martinsville" of the dirtworld. See if can sneak a nose under him and take away the low line. Pathetic. I would really like to see a change made back with the shape of the track.

The reason the change was done cause the track kept on peeling apart. Ok, we got knew clay. No peeling. There was no cushion that got built up. Always in the past the cushion got built up n pushed to the wall. I just think the track was packed to tight. Yea the track didn't peel apart, that which was a good thing.
How long as one of the 2 Larry's been doing track prep. Cause I don't think he learned a damn thing if he worked under Earl, if he did work w/ him. O'well there'll never be another Earl doing track prep.

If you were setting in the stands or 1 & 2 how do you know what it was doing in 3 & 4. It was coming up in the middle of 3 & 4. Maybe not bad but it was. Now I can't comment on 1 & 2 as I could not see down there.
