Hello race fans,
We are streaming live video of tonight's USAC/POWRi National Midget event from Tri-State Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL...We will also be covering the POWRi Micro Midgets and Monster Midwest Series Sprint Cars. Tune in now at:
http://www.usacracing.com/usac_live/usac_live_main
Just for the record, we are using an unsteady Internet connection, shooting from the grandstands in a precarious position, and are using first time "announcer" Kirk Spridgeon to inform you of the goings on, as we have no direct connection to the Public Address system. Please be patient with us in this particular endeavor. We hope you enjoy tonight's broadcast, we will do our best. Thanks so much for your interest. Sincerely,
Dean Mills, Kirk Spridgeon and Chris Shearer

Great coverage tonight USAC, Dean and Rob! Great racing as well. The midget race was a slide job wonder. Clauson first, Kuhn second, and I think Coon Dog third. Bad ass. East was flying after having to start deep in the pack in his backup car. Ran 4th, I think. Best midget race I've seen in a while. Missed most of the micro racing while eating dinner. Sprint car main was mostly on the top. DD won, and Wayne Johnson took the wing off to run second (starting 17th, or so, I think!).

I thought that Kirk Spridgeon did a great job of announcing. The video was very good - though I watched the whole show later in the evening. Thank you guys! BTW, Wayne Johnson was on the move and the "Hawk" had every right to be upset. Thanks again.

Once again there's a lot to be said about a track that is slicked off to a big curb all the way around a joint. Excellent race once again between BC and Kuhn just like at the Hut 100. Good stuff.
