Now that I am a confirmed wing nut and busy scheming on how to get up north for my next wing show, it occurs to me how nice it would be if we had a wing series in Socal. We have this new USA 360 series, but being a Ventura 360 habitue, I don't see myself going to many of those shows. However if they were to strap wings on I would go to many of those shows. Or maybe ASCS could start a 360 wing series in Socal.

Nice to see some open mindedness on this side of the fence. You should plan on attending Chico's Gold Cup in September, the best annual wing event west of Iowa. You won't be disappointed.

I don't know if they're still around but the Rebel Cup (360 wing series) used to come down from wherever they were located to put on outstanding races at Bakersfield a few times a year.

To IhateBush;
I plan on going to the Trophy Cup at Tulare in Oct. The Gold Cup sounds like a gteat show. I know the Trophy cup is a 360 show. Is the Gold Cup 360's 0r 410's?

Outlaw 410 show, 360 Trophy Cup show at Tulare is better. IMO.

Well Dave, no X-mas card from racerdon & turn4rob, your pass to the Ralphie section recalled. Looks like you have over done it with the wing stuff.

Maybe before starting a "new wing series" how about pushing wing's on a wing forum. This is after all a "Traditional Non-Wing Sprint Car" site like Lance advertises......

Wings, no wings, 360's, 410's, it's all good to me as long as it's on dirt.

Some people forget this forum is part of HoseHeads and HoseHears is about sprint cars, all kinds. I guess IMISSASCOT wants to be editor of this forum and only allow comments he approves of.

Imissascot happens to be right. Lance advertises this board as a traditional sprint car website. And what is a HoseHears??? He is only pointing out the obvious to you.
