As if the bonehead rules aren't enough...last night the Grove cancelled the Keystone Cup show for rain. Rain they never got.
Williams Grove management should be ashamed of themselves.
We survived a hailstorm & 2 rain delays when the Outlaws were in town, yet completed the program. You don't put fans in the stands by doing things like this.

Queen Pink Hair Lady is on a roll. And Daddy is rolling over in his grave.

$18.00 admission for a "basic" sprint only show (a pig dressed in a tuxedo is still a pig) + poor advance crowd + a short field considering the purse ='s "Rain Out", without rain! Selinsgrove Speedway, on Sunday night, looks tasty, and how about LINK-KONG SPEEDWAY! $20.00 next Wednesday night for USAC sprints and ARDC midgets! Very fan friendly! SUPPORT the tracks with "fan friendly" management and spend your hard earned money there! E-Mods.

so when will you guys get together and just stay away from the place? you can then post on the WG message board that it was raining.....somewhere! maybe somewhere that lets you in the pits after the races. could the fat lady be warming up out there?

I dunno. I look at things somewhat differently. Boycotting or staying away from tracks just results in closed tracks in the long run. Most tracks are located on land far more valuable for housing or industry than as a racetrack. Boycotting a place just seems like cutting off your nose to spite your face for a race fan.

Maybe they should pave the place ... then Pinkie could make some bucks renting to NASCAR teams wanting to test their Martinsville setup ....

if people are not satisfied they are going to stop going eventually. so you think a night or two with no fans in the stands won't send a message that may lead to a correction in policy before people just start dropping off ?

Come on now, do you really think that would help? Some of the Outlaws even got to practice their Williams Grove setup at Williams Grove during a post-race tire test practice last year, and they have still lost six in a row at the place. J/K.
