I received a phone call and after making another phone call and reading it elsewhere it is true, Jesse Hockett died today after being electrocuted while loading his car into the trailer.
Unbelievable and said to happen to one of the good guys of our sport, who always put on a show with or without a wing.
Unbelievable.

Wow. Hockett was a driver worth going to watch from a long distance too. Excellant wingless driver.
Sorry to hear it.

I remember when his Cousion died Jessie took it real hard. Although, a true true sad day. It brings me releif that he is in heaven with someome to goto that big dirt track in the sky and that he cared very deeply for.
Last race I saw him in was at Creek for the Sooner region race he put on a heck of a show. God be with his family and prayers are sent.

Wow. Horrible news. I just shook his hand down at Devils Bowl and he was tellin me to get the word out about these non wing cars because they need all the support they can get. A true promoter and fan of the sport. Sad. RIP Jesse

He sure could drive a sprint car with a wing or without a wing. Never know what life brings you as he has left us way to early. R.I.P. Jesse

Was that his Cousin or his Brother who died a few years ago? Could have sworn it was his Brother?
