...last night on Tony Stewart's radio show he mentioned that he had just ended a "business call" between himself and Steve Kinser as the show began...when his co-host asked him about the call he started to say what it was about and then balked at telling until all the parties involved are ready...he went on to say that he hoped everything would soon be in place and he would have some kind of announcement on next weeks show...
...any of you "in the know" people know anything about this ?...I believe it was rumoured at the start of the season that Tony made an offer to Mr. Kinser to buy Tim Kaeding's team...maybe this was the truth and the two parties have finally struck a deal ???
DISCLAIMER : ...I know you can be crucified on here for using terms like "I heard", but this really came right from Stewart's mouth on his radio show...non-believers listen to re-air weds. 8:00pm EST (Sirius Satellite Radio ch. 128)
...also, I AM NOT making a statement about Stewart buying Kaeding's team, I AM just asking if this is what this "deal" could be about (notice the question marks)
...there is that politically correct enough for you Nappy - Ass - Hos...LOL !

one of the people in our office stays in contact with tk pretty close. i was told today that it looked like the 11k was parked. but also heard that smoke may be helping in some way. i don't know if that means helping with the 11k or what. it seems now that if poeple who get info and pass it on to try to help update the rest of us they get hammered if the status changes. things happen very fast at times. so fast that by the time it can be shared here, it has changed. so if my info is old news i am sorry. i have not heard anything since 9:oo am pacific time.lol. but i do believe there is going to be help for tim.

That's good, if there is help for him to stay, he is one of the most exciting drivers to watch on the tour right now!!!!

Well actually TK had a pretty good year in 2006 and has been up front abit this year with little issues, If STR parked his car "again" its not good as TK is running 8th in points and Steve is 9th at this time.

Why doesn't Tony help out Chad Kemenah. If I recall he was up for the 20 ride before Paul got it. There were also rumors of Tony starting a second team with Chad as the driver. I wish Chad could find some help he doesn't tear up cars.

i doubt that is going to happen, but you never know. the Q has it's promotions set up for sk in the green car for this year. when sk parked the 11k car the first time i was told he thought about getting out of the 11 and putting tim in it. the big Q said no. as of right now my info is that tk is out of a ride and tony and steve are talking. there may be some of you who know more and this could change at any time but that is what i have been told as of now. i guess we will have to see who pulls in in what at the big E. are they going to be able to race eldora this week?

Hearing from gasoline alley, that everyone at Eldora can look for TK to pull in with Bud's truck and trailer, and word has he will be driving a fresh car and motor from the TSR stable. (Dont crucify me if im wrong, just what i hear).

Its true - McMahan is STILL in the #20 as he SHOULD be!!!
I hear TK is also a member of Tony Stewart's team now in the 2nd car. Congrats Tim.

Fired? He wasn't fired. He was bought out. Steve couldn't financially keep the 11k going full time - so rather than park it he worked out a deal with Stewart to keep Tim out on the road. At least thats how I heard it.
