Yeah, congrats to Tim Kaeding and the Dennis Roth 83 team on winning their first race back in Calif. after departing the WoO tour last week.
The race we are referring to was the Golden State Challenge race at Tulare on Sat. night, 5/15.
1. 83 Tim Kaeding 2. 21 Tommy Tarleton 3. 99 Kyle Larsone 4. 83jr Bud Kaeding 5. 0 Jonathan Allard 6. 57 Shane Stewart
Shane Stewart had fast time, TK was 2nd. Bud Kaeding was driving the 83jr, Dennis Roth's California car.

ooooops..many thanks to D&T Roth for fielding two cars.
For many years they have been strong supporters of sprint car racing in Cali...and across the country!

Actually, the Roths fielded 3 cars as Tim also raced in the USAC 360 non-wing race, but fell out in the feature.
Are we having fun yet?

They also fielded a non-wing 83 car. I believe it was driven by Albert Pombo.
You also have to thank the Tarlton's and Buster/Ziggy crew for bringing out all their cars. 2 winged and 3 wingless.
Would love to see Tarlton run a full GSC schedule since he runs so well against them in every race he runs. And hats off to Tulare for reworking the track before the heat races, definitely made for the most exciting main event I've seen since last years trophy cup.

Alberts car is owned by him and his family. they just bought the car from roth at the start of the year after albert wrecked his in the 2nd race of the year at hanford and they never changed the number or colors on it. I could see why you thought it was a roth car.
