First of all let me start by thanking you and Bengi Lyons for all you have done for USA Raceway, especially in regards to sprint cars....wing, non wing and the tradition of the Western World. Now I would like to ask why you insist on running your premier non wing ASCS division ( with 28 cars in the pits) last, on a WARN OUT DUSTY TIRE EATING TRACK like you did Sat night the May 15th? The mains started at 9pm.Thats Great ! however, We had to sit thru 2 mains of spinning, crashing x mods and stock cars...and did not leave your track till 10:45 pm. That puts us back home to N. Phoenix at 12:45 am. Sunday morning . I as well as my friends are only 4 fans, however we would like to know...is it consession sales? If not why? I am assuming you do want the fans from Phoenix as well as Tucson, correct? We are not coming back until this is corrected. Please respond. PS to Lance Jennings....would you please forward this post to Kevin Montgomery so he can be sure to have a chance to reply. Thanks

Why don't you just call or send an e-mail? I am sure he would respond to your question.

What is his E mail address and I will ? I also have seen other posts regarding this situation so I am sure others also have the same question...and would like to know the answer. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think that was a fair question and a lousy response....you have to run 3-4 classes of cars we understand....but why do sprint car fans have to wait till the last event of the night ,with the track burnt down to nothing...you don't charge by the hour for the seats ,so why would you care if the loyal sprint car fans left after their main if you ran it first. No bodies asking you to run the Main before the heats [which is more to you analogy of playing the end of a movie first]and yah if you had an EAGLES concert and you made me sit through 5 hrs. of the Dixie Chicks I'd not stay or return ...give the people what they want..I believe water boarding is illegal..just as forcing Sprint car fan to suffer through multiple tin top events should be

Well Kevin the post by scoreboard sums up the thoughts of many fans residing in Phoenix. I don't want to step on anyone's toes or hurt anyone's feelings (all drivers have to start somewhere - where is most often determined by their financial position at the time, so my hats off to everyone involved) but those of us who drive from Phoenix to attend a program at U.S.A. Speedway rarely, if ever, do so to watch Hornets, factory stocks or other local starter divisions. It's great that these drivers are getting their start in the sport, but cut the out of town fans some slack by running the open wheeled division's main events first so we can get on the road home at a respectable hour. The locals still get to race, and the out of town fans have the option to stay and watch or head home. If concessions are a determining factor, please consider the impact on concession receipts the absence of Phoenix fans will make in the future
