I did a bit of hunting, as usual, but no sign of results from last night yet.

You need to check our local Nor Cal message board they usually have updates from the events. Go to bottom of page to the drop down menu and find the Northern California link and there you go.
Talent laden field last night: Tim Kaeding, Shane Stewart, Bud Kaeding, Brent Kaeding, Jon Allard, Kyle Larson, Zach Zimmerly, Peter Murphy, Tommy Tarlton etc.
Main event top 5: TK,Tommy Tarlton,Kyle Larson,Bud Kaeding,Jonathan Allard

Fantastic race. Bud Kaeding led early in the Roth 83jr with Shane Stewart, TK and Tommy Tarlton in the mix. Tarlton moved to the front and took off with TK in tow. Last 20 laps or so went non-stop. Tarlton and TK trading the lead coming for the white. Looked liked Tarlton got in to the cushion too hard in turn two and looped it. TK went on for the win, they were so far in front of the field, Tarlton was able to complete his spin and still bring it home in second. I think they had lapped up to 10th place.
Class act Tarlton in the post race interview. You know he had to be disappointed to come so close to the win only to lose it on the last lap but he was a good interview.
While it isn't mentioned in the same breath as Knoxville, Eldora, or some of the more famous tracks. The Tulare Thunderbowl is really a hidden gem on the west coast. If you want to see a good race, this is the place to go.

Absolutely my favorite winged sprint car track out here in California. The Trophy Cup keeps proving that every year.

I would put Tulare's Thunderbowl up against any track in the country for pure race excitement. In my opinion it has a great clay surface and is the perfect size and shape to showcase Sprint Car racing.
I was very impressed with Fred Rahmers first run at the place. When interviewed after his 3rd place finish he commented that this place is just so fast and hectic, we don't have anything back home like this.
