Ok, I'll point out the obvious...Pittman has not lost his ability to drive a sprint car as some were led to believe after the dismal start to 2010. I feel it has become obvious that Daryn was driving for a sub-par team (17) and he did the right thing by parting ways with Keen. Those are tough decisions to make in today's market, but he's obviously still got the ability to put a car in the top 5 at an outlaw event held at arguably one of the toughest places to get a top 5 - Williams Grove. I for one am hoping that Daryn can land something more full time and not have to worry week to week who he is going to drive for.

At the very least, hopefully he'll be able to drive the Heffner car. Trust me, if you didn't see the other posts, there are VERY few people blaming Pittman. The same posts were being made in PA last year when Pat Cannon returned to the #3 Highlands team, won about 10 358 races in the 2nd half of the season, and was competitive every time in a 410 when the WoO came, including a 6th at the National Open. He looked completely lost in the Keen 410 the first half of 09'.....I don't think the common denominator is rocket science, but I don't sign checks so it's their call: Keep losing VERY talented drivers, or fix the problem with the car setup...
