Had to go to Bartlesville today and on my way out i stopped and took some pictures of the old tulsa speedway on hwy 75,, Sad sad shape.. now if i can ever find my cord for my phone i will get the pics off of it and put them on here. Trees were starting to grow up through the grandstands.

Those pictures are exactly what it looks like.. Sad, im from OKC but i loved going to tulsa and watching the races there. And i Agree i would like to see it like the last picture agian.. But we all know that wont happen agian.

Many a Saturday night I would be there eating some Charlies Chicken and gettin a beer from the guy that pulled the tub full of ice cold beer around in the little red wagon.
The only time I ever won a 50-50 was there at a World of Outlaw night race. Rain delayed the start of the feature, the track was reworked & repacked & the 50-50 girls kept on sellin tickets.
That rain delay probably made me an extra couple hundred bucks.
Wolfgang kicked everybody's a** in the 8D car I believe.

Just checked out Amandas' site. Take alook at some of the pictures that are posted from each track. I really enjoyed looking at the 1981 Tulsa Yearbook and the program from Muskogee Speedway.
