Hot laps for sprints are running. Still drinking beers in parking lot will give a car count and who's who rundown once in. Red 25 car just came off track on hook, broken rearend looked like a wall slapper.

Heat 2 result: murphy, albert pombo (roth car), kirkbride, demott.... Tracks dry to the bone but seems like it won't rubberdown and will be racy.

Yellow at lap 14 dry track but wide multi groove and good action. 88 of jace V-weerd gone all alone, behind him awesome action with murphy, stidham, d pombo, hamblin, 10 r v-weerd, sheridan,4, 14, 71...

Stidham LATE get jace vweerd with murphy 2nd and jace v-weerd 3rd. D pombo 4th, hamblin 5th... Slicked out ripper of a main. Good stuff. Full finish tomorrow fellas. Good nite.

Dry cabernet track surface even during qualifying. Rich Vanderweerd got FT running like a train on rails on the bottom. Jace tried the same thing in the main and led most of the way. Showtime couldn't do anything with this track; Justyne was right in front of him on two yellows and slowly pulled away from him both times. Stidham, Murphy, Davey, "The Girl" and most of the leaders wound up running low and straight towards the end. Rusty had an off night until the main, as well. Strange (but entertaining) 1940's taxicab race. All mains over at ten to nine. JPO (just plain odd).

Agreed it was an odd night that ended really early but for my money I thought the sprints were very entertaining. Yeah it was a black ice slick track but man you could have blanketed 6cars in the main all battling up front. I am no expert but the right rears didn't look too bad after the race in my opinion. There was some very respectful, close quarters racing going on in the A main and no flips. I had a good time.
