I'm looking for the pictures of Robert building his sprint car in the trailer house. Does anybody know where I can find them?

Yeah... he built a car in his house... They had to remove a portion of a wall to get the car out when it was complete. I saw the pictures... it was amazing.
There were pictures on his website. I can't seem to find his website though.

those pics were on here at one time ? pretty remarkable story , some race to live, some live to race ! , That reminds me, I believe, it was his car, I wondered by at Nationals last year about mid day and the heads and injection (top end )was tore off his mill,(not sure what trouble they had ) anyway , it was running that night! you dont see that with the big teams ! he's got my respect.

He did have his own website and the pictures were on it. I found a link for his website off of the Knoxville website, but his site is no longer active.
I will admit that I was cheering for him at the last Knoxville nationals.

Luckily I saved these before RobertBellRacing.com went down.

Thank You for saving these. If you have never met Robert stop by and talk to very fun guy to talk with. I've got to find him again so I can get a racing shirt off of him.

really though, I dont understand, maybe just bordom on Bells mind? , but, if you take the front and rear axles out the car, its pretty narrow, and easily handeled , without the motor, its rather light and can be moved with just two or three guys ? Owell, still a classic if your moma ever said "come move this transmission out of the tub you might be a redneck" gotta love it .

In high school (a million years ago) I did a book report on Wilbur Shaw, Indy 500 champion and IMS president.
He had a similar racing car "built indoors" story... only I don't recall it being built on the ground floor. THAT, my friends, is a complication in itself.
Gotta love the little guy trying to do big things. More power to them all.

My old man built a big block(396) in the basement years ago (maybe ice age, I was a kid), the story if my uncle and father moveing it to the upstairs is still laughed over (my dad is lucky he didnt loose any fingers in the move ) some people, it doesnt matter how tall the fence is, they'll find a way to scale it.
