Ummm was this a joke or what?

4 Midwest All Star Cars no T-shirt's in any form for the Midwest All Stars heck didn't even see anything like a pace truck or trailer or anything.

Kertscher won Reinke 2nd

Mike Hess kicked some serious ass in the 2nd heat race with a 360 only to be screwed big time by the IRA! Say what you want but you know it will be a bull shit story. IRA would not let him start the A even though he was pushed off way before they were lined up to start the A. He did run the midget portion of the event, so come on give us a break. I guess if the IRA stars can't beat a 360 maybe the best thing to do is park them. Gosh I just can't believe how this went down. SHAME ON YOU IRA!!!!!!

Oh yeah Kertscher took out logan in the heat race again, or at least I am sure logan will come up with some sort of story, even if they were in seperate heat races.

And yes it didn't start as scheduled and it was a marathon again, but all in all good racing.

Perhaps he was not in the staging area in time. There is a rule that all cars have to be in staging prior to a race. I don't know the whole story but that would be my guess. It has been called before as a few folks like to drag it out getting there.

My mistake! IRA did let Hess start but he was black flagged and probably not scored. There was actually 1 extra car, 23 cars started. Hess actually got pushed out and was probably told on the radio to go to the pits he stopped in turn 4, most likely to ask for an explanation, then pushed a 2nd time and started the A as well as the alternate.

Perhaps if it had been Balog, Neitzel, Reinke, or a regular IRA driver more time would have been given.

This is a great way to promote growth of new driver for a race series. Badger midgets have about the same amount of confusion and they are seeing tremendous growth!!!

Didn't hear that Kertscher was DQ,d but I am sure it has to do with the fact that he was at least a straight away ahead of Logan all night!

Once again another idiotic comment by SW, no Kertscher wasn't DQ'd the engine only pumped at 396.

On a different note I can't wait to see what Ricky Bobby has to say on his site this week. I think he needs to put his tail between his legs and head back to K-ville or where ever.

idiotic assumption by you. didn't say it was the engine did I? he weighed in light. which means DQ'd!!!

Is Ricky Bobby, Ricky Logan? i'm surprised he races with some of these idiots. they've got nothing to lose. they aren't ever going anywhere. Logans' a pro and has a lot to lose.

Speaking of Knoxville, isn't that where the IRA is heading next? OUCH!!!! Kertcher won't even show because, well do i have to really say?

I went to Plymouth last night with 38 MSA sprints in the house and Kurt Davis took the win. Sprint feature was done at around 9:45.

When you run such a fine tuned proficient night of racing like the IRA does you just have to make calls like this sometimes. I'm sure they started right on time as usual, didn't do their normal dick around before the mains, and finished their program by curfew. Or did they end up dropping off laps in the main again because they were running over curfew because of a 30 minute unnecessary break sometime in the evening and starting 30 minutes late again.

First thing that comes to mind is which IRA guy was the alternate to get in?

Boy it would be nice to get some results. All i know is that Reinke won and some 360 couldn't(and shouldn't be allowed to) race. the BMRA had there results up early this morning. i imagine Symoens is still out for brunch.

If Logan is such a professional why is he not racing at Knoxville or the World of Outlaws? Makes me wonder.

I won't bother looking at the IRA website for a stupid explanation I mean WTF give me a break!!

Oh by the way Kertscher won passed for the lead fair and square!

I think it's ridiculous. He was the only one running 2 cars, give him a break he was out there before they were lined up on the track. I believe it said he was supposed to start somewhere around 8th but because he was late he started at the back. Obviously didn't matter that he had a 360, he qualified mid pack against all 410s and made the show without having to run in one of the bmains. When they did finally black flag him he was lapped but had also passed several cars. I don't think that Ira or the track had ever had to deal with someone running in two classes back to back but after reading Sinclairs explanation it looks like they will figure something out for next time they are put in that situation. On a side not the racing was pretty good, and was nice to see badger get 18 midgets out on opening night! I thought that the track did a great job with keeping things moving along and got the show done at a decent time!

Ya I went to breakfast and took my time. I didn't see the need to satisfy some loudmouth that has nothing better to do except bad mouth the IRA. If you really wanted to know what happened perhaps you should have purchased a ticket and watched in person. Then you would not have to rely on me to satisfy your need for information. You would also been able to confirm who did what and not have to rely on hearsay. I'm sure you had better things to do than attend the race like perhaps work release or something of that sort. I will certainly try harder to get the stuff out early so I don't inconvenience you again. By the way, I don't know how long it takes BMRA to do their stats but I spend up-wards of 3 hours getting everything done because I want to make sure it is correct. Perhaps Strange Wings would like to take a crack at doing stats for a racing club and see how well he does. I am not sure there is any club out there that would have him but give it a try.

Being on the mend I let Joy drive, pick the place and buy. What a deal huh? I can resume driving tomorrow and resume my regular routine on Friday. That means I have to buy next week. wink

Dick, It's nice to see that you are doing a great job promoting the IRA and encouraging fans to follow the series even when they can't attend. You ever think that maybe not every fan can attend every race? Don't you think that's a little unneccessary when you're trying to gain fans in a crappy economy?

It's also quite entertaining that you mention you take so long to get everything together and accurate before posting considering at the track last night I watched the 12 car battling for 3rd with Neitzel when the caution flew and somehow the lineup came down as the 1HRP was between them. Can you explain that one and your accuracy?

Why all the Logan bashing? Don't you like it when other good drivers show up to add to the IRA field? I find it refreshing when a driver actually speaks his mind and doesn't sugercoat what he says for fear of pissing someone off. You guys should be happy these non ira drivers show up when they do to race with the ira
