Montieth took 2nd at the line after the 21 and 3 car traded several close call slide jobs...and once again...the show is the 21 car.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Dewease dominated the whole field and led from the outset. He was clearly the fastest car on the track. 2nd-5th were pretty close for the majority of the race. Madsen and Monteith exchanged spots multiple times with Monteith winning that battle. Once again track was all the way to the fence.
Dewease, Monteith, Madsen, S. Smith, Krimes, M. Smith, Leppo...not sure past that.
Buckwalter won the Midget Feature.

All-Stars had a rough night.
Blaney qualified very well but failed to transfer through his heat and held on for 2nd in a tough B. Then went backwards quickly in the feature.
Shaffer looked much worse then last week. Was in the middle of the feature.
Wilson had an awful night from qualifying to a dismal heat run and nothing special in the B.
The rookies had a rough night as well. Henry looked decent in warm-ups but nothing more than that. Ridge had a night to forget but it was a learning experience for both of them.
Rose was close to awful making no noise all night.
Invader Madsen was a rocket as soon as the car pulled out of the trailer. Had a great TT lap and a solid finish in his heat before having a great battle with Monteith and coming up short by a hair at the line for 2nd.
Last year, Lincoln was nicer to the All-Stars, we'll see if that works out tommorow.

Other than the battle for 2nd at the end....it was the most uneventful race I witnessed at the Grove this year. We have been spoiled thus far...

The 17 went backwards in his heat and the B-main. I wonder if they'll be at Lincoln tonight or at Port for some easy pickins.

Them PA guys are tough. Who was the highest finishing All Star? I would love to make a trip to Posse land someday and watch those guys run.

I'm sure they will be at Lincoln....this is a high $ team that will travel more to run more B Mains.
The #17 has never had EASY pickens at Port, and wouldn't tonight either.

Ahhhhhhh, July dust in May! Dewease started from the pole at "his" track, "he" better win! Montieth is this generation's "Ronnie Rough", Madsen showed balls & guts with "his" new ride, Hodnett needs to add balls & guts with "his" old ride and Sweet is not afraid of Armco steel, but goes nowhere on the track! Looking for the PSP in the trees. E-Mods.
