Hey guys I'm new to Oklahoma and I went to the races last night at Lawton Speedway

and they had a great program. I thought the Champ sprints put on a great show and was wondering what other tracks her in oklahoma run them and what nights they run on.

Thanks

I would recomend marking Meeker off your list, I have been there and it is not worth the drive or the money for a weekly show. Lawton did have a great show Saturday - best since I moved to OK - I hope they can keep it up. I have not been to a weekly show at Enid, hopefully they do well. I have not been to a weekly Creek County Show but I have been to a sprint car show there and it was some of the best racing I had ever watched. Their support classes were almost as good as the sprint cars to.

You are welcomed to your own opinion just like everyone else. But, just to let you know two of drivers that were at Lawton this past weekend are Meeker regulars. It helped Lawton out that the Champs were off this past weekend from Brill's.Also, Creek did not run their champ class this past weekend b/c of the ASCS race.

Ok, I don't see your point. Does that mean that Lawton did not put on a good show? That's my mistake, from where I was sitting it looked like a good show, I heard others say they thought it was a good show, maybe we are wrong, I don't know. Was I out of line by saying that I hope they can keep it up? I just don't understand what your point was.

Stick to your guns man.....If you thought it was a good show that's all that matters. I thought Creek put on a good show too. That's where I was though, so...... I'd go watch sprints anywhere for the most part. And for those that know what I'm talking about"it's what I do". hahahahaha

Go wherever you want to watch racing. Have fun and enjoy the show.

I almost went to Creek but couldn't make it, I am glad to hear it was a good show. I was really curious how the races would be since they remodeled everything.

It was cosmetic changes I thought. Except for the guardrail on the south end it was the same track. Oh, and the straits were wider too. I don't know if they took any banking out of 1 and 2 or not. Didn't look like it to me though.

Im not try to speak for anybody, but i think the point that erich was trying to make was that He wouldnt mark meeker off of the list. Not that lawton was a bad show, he was just saying that a couple of the guys who was in lawton are meeker regulars, so the car count wont always be that good.

You are correct with what I was trying to say. I did not say that the show was not any good. I was not there. I was at Creek. Going on last years avg at Lawton the car count was close to that of Brill's weekly.

When the OCRS comes to Lawton I am sure the car count will increase once again. I was not trying to start a Lawton vs Brill's debate. Not in the slightest.

I can tell you from talking to some people at Creek that went to the weekly show the week before that Creek better find a way to get cars lined up quicker. I talked to one gentleman and he said the week before last he left at 1am and all the features had not been ran yet. The track officials still line cars up after yellows the old fashion way of pointing to a driver and telling them where to go. Just my observation.
