Tin tops everywhere this weekend, bikes at Ventura, no sprints squirting dirt within 150 miles. Do I have to sray home and listen to Prarie Home Companion? Never been to Orange Show, so I will head thataway. Anybody else that desperate? May 15 at Tulare, Golden State Challenge (410 wings) and west coast 360's, I and Ol' Hot Laps wil be there. Will I get kicked out of the Ralphie Section for going to a wing show? BTW terrific show at Ventura last Sat. So many cars the seniors had to run a B. I heard that last year Ventura had the highest car count of any sprint car track in the USA. Last Sat. 30 regulars and 21 seniors, 20 Mods and 15 Lighting Sprints. Did I mention a gaggle of go carts and a brace or two of pintos. Plus I got to sit and chat with the legendary SurfandSrint (aka Big Mike).Do I sound like a flak for Ventura, you bet, but I love that little joint. Call myself BigRipFan but I now am also BigKierceFan.. Ok Kierce if you don't win soon I could easily become BigTaylarFan or BigFordFan or Anybody but Kierce fan.
