Here's a summary of the first eight Billy Anderson Memorial races held at the Cedar Lake Speedway. The WISSOTA 360 Championship Sprint Cars were part of the race from 2002 to 2005. ASCS rules were run in 2006 and 2007. The 2008 event was cancelled twice due to weather, once in April and the makeup was rained out in September. The upstart UMSS series sanctioned the event in 2009.

There. That should give sprint car fans a decent summary of all of the past Billy Anderson Memorial feature races leading into the 9th Annual at CLS on Saturday April 24.
I'm looking forward to the UMSS opening weekend at Kopellah April 23 and Cedar Lake April 24 with each feature paying $1,000 to win. I'm heading up to Kopellah to check on their open practice shortly, then it's over to Eagle Valley near Jim Falls, WI for their season opener later today. The weather looks great, so I should be able to go three for three for the weekend!
