Two Fans Will Race COWTOWN DEMO DERBY…and Win $750?!

Kennedale TX (4/15/10) by DarinShort.com. Last month two gentlemen flew in from Norway to compete in the Cowtown Speedway Demo Derby. Their group had a blast, and indicated they will be back to Cowtown in the future for more fun on the track.

But on Saturday, May 1st, two lucky Cowtown fans won’t have to fly half way around the world for their chance at driving in a Demo Derby, as two lucky program numbers will be called out and those winners will compete in the Demo Derby at Cowtown that night!

Each fan will be provided a fully-prepped Demo Derby car to compete with, along with pit passes and a helmet. They must sign the standard Cowtown Speedway release form prior to their entry into the pit area. If either winner would like to pass up on their chance to compete, another program number will be drawn until two drivers are ready to hop in and tear it up!

The Cowtown Speedway race programs will be sold for normal price ($3.00) leading up until drawing time, which will be approximately one hour before the start of the Demo Derby. Only race programs sold on May 1st will be considered for the drawing.

So it’s possible you can come to Cowtown Speedway on May 1st, purchase your event program, get your number drawn, and have a wild, bone-jarring time blasting your way through the competition on the track and take home the $750 winners prize, to boot!

There’s also a full line up of racing on the high-banked ¼ mile oval on May 1st with the Cowtown Modifieds, Performance Transmissions raceTX.com Limited Modifieds, Winged 600’s, Cowtown Bombers and LSDCC.com Dwarf Cars in action.

Adult tickets to this event are still just $12, with kids $2 (ages 3-5) and youth $5 (ages 6-11). Tickets will be available online at the track website the week of the race at no additional fee.

Don’t miss out on a once in a lifetime chance to compete in a Cowtown Demo Derby on May 1st at the Fastest Lil’ Dirt Track In Texas – Cowtown Speedway!

Bo has these two demo cars about ready to go for this event, so you know they're not going to be 'junkers' by any means - this should be a lot of fun and will leave the lucky winners with a story to last a lifetime...don't miss out on the fun this Saturday night at Cowtown!

www.CowtownSpeedway.com for more information...hot laps at 6:30 racing at 7pm - REGULAR ticket prices of just $12 in effect for this show!

Who would have thought that the two fans who won in the program drawing (one male, one female - neither with any demo derby experience) would end up finishing 1st and 2nd in the 12-car demo field this past Saturday night! The winner received $750 while our female fan-turned-driver took home $300 for her efforts.

And if that isn't enough, the winning fan taking home the $750 in the demo derby had never been to Cowtown Speedway before...what an initiation he had!

I'm sure they all went home and haven't stopped telling the story since!

Congratulations to the lucky winners - and before the question is asked - YES - the next Cowtown demo derby scheduled for June 19th and Bo will again build 2 demo cars for the fans to win/drive!

The promotion will be set up exactly the same...buy a race program...2 names drawn...and the race is on!
