How was the weather this weekend?
Also what was the crowd size?
Good for them to run the show, I'm getting too fair weathered in my middle age...

It was 31 degrees when I left the track.......9:30PM or so. Wind was the issue for most.....15 to 20mph most of the day and evening. It wasn't a regular banged out Lincoln weekly crowd.........understandable I guess. Lincoln is giving a 2 dollar discount to all adult customers holding a rain check from last night for next Saturday..........Props to them. I really wasn't cold. Great racing throughout the night.

anything about racing. I don’t understand how they
come up with some of the calls they do. It makes me
think that they just might be that stupid. It’s
scary." -Steve Kinser

Another great night of racing at Lincoln. Hats off to the entire speedway staff, fans, and drivers who came out and supported the show.

Hats off to Rahmer. He's even faster than I thought he would be. Track has been much slicker this time of year than usual...something about new clay? Seems to playing right into Rahmer's hands. Esh has even had a little difficulty finding the handle.

"Absolutely, in all honesty, this is unbelievable to me," said Rahmer reflecting on his record-tying run. "Because I know actually how much ability I have, and it’s nothing near what Mr. Smith, Bobby Allen and all those other guys that have raced here...but I guess through perseverance and just surrounding myself with good people, I ‘ve been very fortunate."
"I ‘ve been wanting to get this out of the way because I didn’t want to get this close and leave it get by. We still have work to do. There’s only one man that will ever beat me, and that’s Mr. Smith...and I don’t doubt that he couldn’t come back out and do it."

I don't think it has anything to do with the "clay". Don't think there's ANYthing "playing right into Rahmer's hands". I think it'd be the driver. Just his same 'ole patented hunger for victory. And if it would be anything out of the ordinary, I think hosin' he got from the Grove lit a fire under his ass that is burnin' hotter than ever. Yes... to that subject again, the Sports Plus Video footage shows it... more than adequate room for another car between the rail and the orange car. I was in disbeleif myself before viewing it. Proven inncocent, Fred. Unjust was applied. Shame on those who made the call.

You're probably right... Rahmer doesn't care if its still April and 30 degrees out and it's already dead slick around the bottom every week...lol. Where's Montieth been the past few weeks? A better question yet... Is this Billy or his roommate...lol.

It'd be "Billy"... the roomate had departed a week and a half ago, LOL. Can't help ya with the Monteith question.
