Special Thank you to Perris Auto Speedway

Lakewood, CA. – Thanks to Perris Auto Speedway (PAS) more than 100 golfers, entered in this year's Zanzabuku Sports Lounge's annual charity golf tournament on April 24 at the Little Recreation Golf Course in Long Beach, will receive a pair of free tickets to the USAC/CRA sprint car race on June 12. This year's golf tournament is a benefit for the Susan G. Komen Program for the Cure and its Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.

Joining the sprint cars of USAC/CRA on the June 12, race card will be the California Lightening Sprints and the WRA vintage race cars.

In addition, the famous southern California sprint car track generously included several more tickets to be given away during the event's fund raising raffle to be held at the Lakewood bar following the day's round of golf. Several other unique raffle items will be available to lucky ticket holders in the afternoon. A barbecue is also planned as well as a special drawing for a 40 inch, flat screen color television set. All proceeds from the bar's fifth annual charity golf tournament will go to the Susan G. Korman Program for the Cure.

The Lakewood bar also plans to show videos of USAC/CRA racing events at Perris Auto Speedway during the hours prior to the raffle. Jeff Kristensen's Raceway Video (www.racewayvideo.com) is the official videographer of the racetrack.

Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan's compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.

That promise is now the Susan G. Komen Program for the Cure, the global leader of the global breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.3 billion since its inception in 1982. As the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, they are working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.

There are still a few openings for this year's event and if interested in playing, golfers should contact the Zanzabuku Sports Lounge at 562.423.9872. The tournament entry fee is $55.00 and includes nine holes of golf, with each golfer to receive a small tournament gift bag, a golf hat to commemorate the event and a barbecue at the awards ceremony following the tournament. The bar is located at 4825 Paramount Blvd., in the city of Lakewood.

Special thanks go to Tanner Watson, Marketing Manager of Perris Auto Speedway for helping make this year's tournament a sure success.
