This is the fist time for 410's there that I know of....I counted 10 RR's, two LF's and two fuel stops. The "local" announcer mentioned early in the broadcast his thanks to the WoO for coming in and preparing the track for the event.

The WoO has a track prep crew? Not enough cars for multiple fuel stops. Sometimes you need to make the right decision and let them put on new tires, had they done that for the first red flag the race would have been over an hour earlier. Another race past midnight wow great! They are close enough to get help from Emmett, get the chili bowl tiller & get er done right.

i just got back from the track, i was there. I have been going to this track for 20 years, smoothest surface i have ever seen there, no visible ruts, the track took a little rubber around the bottom, but I've seen way worse before, I dont know what cause such tire wear. Everybody knew which cars were going to lose tires, you could see the tire get shiny and then boom, all of the wear on the outside part of the tire. What a disaster, as most of the people here were at their first WOO event, with a $35 ticket price. I'm pretty disspointed, would be way more upset if i wasnt already back in my own bed though.

The biggest problem was with the lineups, nobody wanted to get in the right spots, and some of the transponders werent working. naturally the drivers couldnt agree on their positions, and honestly i dont think woo knew who was were, the last restart was a complete mess. mccarl, kemenah, dollansky, kinser, all side by side in the back 3 and 4 wide just rolling around to get the green, hafertepe saw what was going on and hopped from about 15 up to about 7th on the back stretch before the restart. biggest mess you have ever seen. tim kaeding was so mad at one point he stopped on the front straightaway right on top of the orange cone. mccarl and kemenah, among others, were very upset after the race.

Meyers got lucky, but I have to give it to him, he made his tire last longer than everybody else.

Dont know if it was luck saving the rr because it was his second of the night !! An hour and twenty minutes after he changed the first one, he won the race .

Question: How much time did they give all these guys for flats? The new one minute rule aplied? Ugh.

Paul McMahan did the best job at saving his tire. Didn't blow till the last lap and still took 5th.

One minute...BS This cluster_____ all took place in the last half of the sched. laps. According to the "rulebook", no time alloted for repairs. The cars shoulda been parked. Maybe when the rulebook gets so thick, it's hard to figure out which ones to enforce. Oh by the way I'm going on the record as opposeing scheduled red flag tire stops. The way things have gone the last few years, I'm sure it's on the adgenda somewhere.
