Hey everyone. I'm helping on a history project that pertains to Mid Nebraska Speedway (formerly established as Mid Continent Raceway) in Doniphan NE. The track origianally raced modified/sprints in the 70's along with stock cars. They currently have an anual NCRA sprint event.
The project is to be a book or annual that depicts the history of the track from it's inception to present day. It's tenatively to be completed by the 2011 racing season as that is the 40th anniversary of the track being built. We're looking for photos, articles, and any other general information or contacts that may be able to contribute or donate to the project.
If anyone has any info please let me know.
