Jeff Little ! If you're reading this shoot us an email at: [email protected]

Hey Jeff-----I'm living a dream. We are finally going to see this place that birthed the careers of the Swindells and a few others out of our past like Hooker Hood,Bobby Ward, and their ilk. Are we lucky enough to find you in town and in the mood for some racing ?

We had hoped to bring our "party boy"with us but as his Father taught him" Making a living CAN be inconvenient !"So it will probably be just the old folks, but we have heard that Memphis is a fun town. Can West Memphis be far behind ?

You should be in for a treat. I am headed up to West Memphis for this race myself. I assume you're talking about the weekend of the 24th and 25th? "The Ditch" as they call it, is a special place. Hopefully the track will be tacky and fast. It should be Friday for sure, we'll see what happens Saturday. I went to an All Star show there two years ago when it was horribly dry slick and it was awful. Hopefully there won't be a repeat of that. I'm pretty sure you'll get to see Sammy Swindell and his brother both racing at that show, although I haven't heard a confirmation of that.

Be sure to hit Beale Street while you're there. It's just across the old bridge (I-55 bridge) from the track. Good music, good barbecue, and an absolutely electric atmosphere at night. You don't want to miss that. Graceland is probably a must see if you're an Elvis fan. Beyond that, be very careful where you go in Memphis as they can steal the wheels off your car while it's rolling!
