Well ya don't say. I've been there when you get a light coat of dust after a night of racing, I've been there when you get plastered with dust, I'm only 47 & have been going to this place before Tony was Sh*&^$n yellow so I think I can put some input on how it should be as well as a few others that have posted on the subject. This was just out & out inexcusable. So for anybody saying it is a dirt track, Exactly, You should have little balls of dirt coming your way NOT DUST BLINDING YOU DURING HOT LAPS.

A few years ago, I finally broke down and went to Eldora for the first time and saw the KR. It was on my "must see" list. It was a huge letdown. The cars were kicking up dust in hot laps and by the end of the night, it was hideous. Since then, I still wanted to either see the Spring USAC race, or the 4 Crown. But now it will take an act of Congress to get me to make the 500 mile drive. Dust at a track doesn't bother me if it is within reason. I've always said that my favorite type of "A" Main is when the cars are still slinging a little dirt at the start and then slicks off for the end. But dust in hot laps?

The Goodyear's will help fix that problem.
