Robby Wolfgang Racing Weekly Press Release
Alex Johnson (March 30th, 2010) - With cold temperatures slowly leaving and as the warm spring air arrives, Robby Wolfgang is excited to start the 2010 season. Robby will not be behind the familiar yellow and blue 1a as he has been in the past, however he will sport a new color at both Knoxville Raceway and Husets Speedway. Bruce Williams, a respected car owner from Des Moines, Iowa has both raced and fielded a car at Knoxville over the last 15 years. “Bruce is an awesome guy, he sees something in me and I can not thank him enough for giving me this opportunity to drive a top-notch 410 car at Knoxville each week,” says Robby. “We plan on racing around 40 shows with Bruce and the 7K car, running primarily for Rookie of the Year at Knoxville Raceway, but we also plan on hitting around a dozen shows in his 360 car,” mentioned Wolfgang. As Robby gears up to race the Williams 7K at Knoxville, he has come up with a fun and exciting way to get fans to the track. Robby Wolfgang Racing, in conjunction with Knoxville Raceway, will be holding a weekly contest for FREE grandstand tickets to every Saturday evening’s race. The contests will be conducted through Facebook Fan Page, and weekly Press Releases. Each week Robby Wolfgang Racing will be holding a trivia contest, in which 2 contestants responding with the correct answer will receive 2 tickets to the upcoming race at Knoxville Raceway, resulting in 4 FREE tickets given away! “I am extremely excited to kick off the contest and give fans an opportunity to make it to the races more often. I can not thank Brian Stickel and the folks at Knoxville Raceway for giving us this promotional opportunity, just another reason why Knoxville is the best place to not only race, but to watch weekly sprint car racing,” said Robby. With a full schedule ahead in the Williams 7K, Robby will also be aboard a different machine at Huset’s Speedway, where he earned Rookie of the Year honors in both the 360 and 410 ranks last year. Robby will be behind the wheel of the familiar Bill Smith owned number 33. “I can not thank Bill enough for the opportunity to run his car at Huset’s weekly. Bill helped us out last year toward the end of the season, and I believe we work well together,” explained Wolfgang. Look for around 25 races in the Smith 33 at Huset’s Speedway, as well as special 410 events in the region. Be sure to check http://www.robbywolfgang.com/ often, as Robby will be up to date with his Schedule, Blog, and News. Also, look for 2010 Merchandise to be available soon, both to purchase at the track and over the website for fans that don’t get to see Robby race.
Wolfgang’s Weekly Trivia Contest: Starting on Monday mornings, Robby Wolfgang Racing will have a weekly trivia contest ending Wednesday at midnight, with winners being announced by Thursday at 12pm. Remember, 2 fans will win 2 grandstand tickets to that upcoming Saturday Night Show at Knoxville. Contest answers have to be posted by midnight on Wednesday on the Robby Wolfgang Racing Facebook Fan Page to be eligible to win.
Weekly Trivia Contest Question: The first contest question will be released on the Morning of April 26th.
