There is really no way for anyone to give more than a wild guess without more info. The system all works together, for someone to tell you what to use without knowing pump size, nozzle size, pill in main is impossible, all those things will affect at what rpm your hi-speed will pop off.In your case racing on a quarter mile, you shouldn't be on the hi-speed much anyway.Have your system flowed by someone that knows what they are doing that has a flow bench. It will be one of the best spent investments you will make.Mark Burch out of Neb. will get you lined out,he usually runs his advertisement in classifieds section under services-Good luck!

Hawgwild,

No two diaphram by-passes are created equal and sometimes neither are people's pressure gauges. By far one of the best investments you can make is to have your pump, nozzles and by-passes flowed on a flow bench as dirtybeer stated. Then you can get a baseline for your engine and track and adjust accordingly if needed. (Thanks for the props) My ad is back up under Fuel Systems under Hosehead Classifieds.

Hawg wild, I would second some of the advice givin here, this fuel question could really ruin your night if things are not looked at closely, bite the bullet , have your system taylored to your specs, you might find a problem that could really cost you..

Get your engine on a dyno and the operator can do some tuning to get you a solid baseline all while watching the exhaust temps to avoid lean out. Your heads and injector, ports, pistons and valves won't flow like the next guy's. If you don't have access or the money for the dyno, fuel system flowing will help, and Mark Burch is one of the best, but I'd rather have dyno sheets. They can give you the baseline and save lots of nights of experimenting. Learning your fuel system and managing it will save money in the long run and give you the best performance your engine is capable of on any given night.

As mentioned above every motor needs and wants something different.

Pump size?

Nozzle Size?

Main pill?

ADR or Density Altitude?

I run a All pro headed 360 motor, 400 pump, 14 nozzles, base ADR is 94 or around 800 ft., .058 on the main, 75# with a .072 pill.

Hope this helps!
