DAVID CARDEY RETURNS TO PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY!  

(MARCH 26, 2010, RIVERSIDE, CA) One week after competing in the first round of the All Coast Challenge at the Ventura Raceway, David Cardey will return to his own car and the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series this Saturday night, March 27^th, at Perris Auto Speedway. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM on Saturday with the first race at 7:00. 

Last week, in a strange (new to him) car at the beautiful track on the beach in Ventura, David placed sixth in his heat race an had to go to the B main. The likeable star turned in a good performance and finished fourth in the B and thus earnied a ticket to the All Coast Challenge A main event. 

For the 30-lap A main, David had to start dead last in 23^rd place. From there he put on a show! He passed 12 cars (along with Jimmy Crawford the most cars anyone passed in the main) and clawed his way to an 11^th place finish. Once again, this was in a car that was brand new to him, with a right rear tire he had never driven before and against a full field of Ventura regulars. 

This Saturday David and the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars will be part of a triple header show that will also feature Extreme Late Models and PASSCAR Super Stocks at Perris Auto Speedway. He plans on improving the season opening 10^th place finish he had at The PAS in February. Early in the day before Saturday’s race, David will take part in the shooting of the new Perris Auto Speedway television commercial.

Myself ,Mike D. & Walt W. made the trip to Ventura last week to watch David run against the VRA guys.

Although David was not all that happy with his performance, we thought he had a good solid night against some very fast 360s that race nearly every week(unlike the CRA).

I have been to Ventura Raceway twice and both times I got crapped on by a seagull.

I still like the racetrack but the seagulls, not so much.

Those right rears the VRA uses are very hard(nothing like the CRA tires).
