one of my all time favorite car and drivers. I think the next year Wolfgang fliped over the wall runing third at Kokomo behind Steve and Sammy. Wolfgang said in his book Kokomo was his least favorite track.

The Gambler house car was always a looker IMO.
'83 Gambler house car was my favorite with Wolfie behind the wheel. Seeing it with 4 different tire manufacturers on the car at the same time... that was SOOOOOO cool I thought at the time. (still think it today, btw)
Danny Smith's throwback paintjob at Knoxville was WAAAAY cool.
Great picture, great car. Awesome paint job on this '81 version.

You are right. The Gambler house cars were always looking good. I remember one year The Gambler car (I think driven by Dub May) and the Loretta Lynn special (driven by Charlie Swuarts) pulled in out here at Skagit Speedway. The both stole the show on looks, not too shabby on running also.

Didn`t dub may drive for spurlock before danny. Danny build the first gambler car, jac, wolfe were the other two that drove for c k spurlock. I keep think dub drove before danny. But i could be wrong.
