yeah, the jabs are senseless cause we all love racing. it sure is a fun sport.
I believe in limited racing and the 305 deal really excites me, it will keep growing if the rules are contained and it does not become a money deal. we will be teching especially hard at my races.
Good luck to you and your son.

As long as you and your tech officials stick to your words and your rules, no matter who it is or how much influence they may have. If everybody is treated the same no matter what state they pull from (lol) and try to keep the cost reasonable, I think your deal will work IMO. Good luck with your 305 class maybe we will see ya down the road...

My big races are invitational. Las cruces had two drop in pickers(Kaeding & Hood)
My entries require that all drivers race a 305 full time or at least regularly somewhere. NO PICKERS.
Now, I might change that if someone hired Steve Kinser to driver their car. LOL
I never pay appearance money and everyone who pulls in my gate is equal. I would have tore down the winning car in Las Cruces because as I listened, it sounded like he ran off in the main. Everyone that was there would want to know for sure that he was legal, especially 2nd and 3rd place drivers. If a winner wins because he runs a different line and has not dominated all weekend (esp when the track was wet) then visual type tech may be enough. My protest fee is only $100 to pull heads so, if we don't do it, any driver in the main can protest.
Limited racing for big bucks requires a mean tech inspector or you know what will happen. I'm promoting this event to make it a big sucess in 5 years not just a one time deal.
