Lots of news to report here, some good, some can't be controlled:
1. The Kennedale City Manager prescribed 'sound wall' is now up and the Saturday night Cowtown Speedway 'curfew' is back to Midnight, as was the case last year.
2. The current weather forecast for Saturday is not looking good right now. At first they were saying overnight precip late on Friday night, but now they're thinking precip during the day on Saturday as well. We'll continue to monitor the forecast and if the races are to be cancelled, it will be well in advance.
3. If Saturday's races do get rained out, there will be no Sunday raindate.
4. The Sunday go-kart races are still on as scheduled, whether Saturday's races get rained out or not. Any change to that schedule will be determined as the weekend weather unfolds...as if the track gets too much precip, then it will cancel. But right now, sunny and 55 is the Sunday afternoon forecast...stay tuned.
