Sorry I know its not sprint related but I have searched for an answer to this for a couple hours and can't find it. Its amazing that all the major motorsports websites think that everyone has the mechanical mentatlity of an NBA fan. All they want to talk about is the drivers and sponsors. There are a few fans left that like racing for the machines not the goobers that turn the steering wheel and the stickers on the cars.
Does he still run the engine that Ford developed that they called the Boss 500? If so why does the supercharger look just like the dodges this year? I see a press release that says they are still the ford engines but the 2 butterfly blowers like the last 2 years are gone. Does Wilkerson and Tasca run the Boss 500 or the same old engine?

Does it say anywhere in any of the articles about John Force that he has the integrity of a gnat and sells himself out by losing races on purpose.....like a fighter taking a dive in the ring for money. Disgraceful to him, the sport, his sponsors, and all of the racing fans that pay money to watch him.

In case you haven't figured out by now racing isn't for fun or a hobby now a days, it's a business and Force is a business man.
I don't like it one bit either but that's just the way it is these days.

Yeah right, one car can block a three lane track when there's half a dozen cars behind him.

Almost no different between what Force runs in his cars and everybody else. Biggest difference is Force has BOSS on his heads and on the supercharger. Seriously, I understand Ford did some minor work on the heads a couple years ago, thus they can "sort of" get away calling it a Ford Boss engine. If any manufacturer gets their dollar's worth from a driver they pay, has to be Force.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Oh, how the lemmings follow each other!!!!!. What he did was WRONG-who cares if others do it-they are all just like the scum that runs this great country. Sell there integrity, souls, competitive spirit for the almighty dollar. Lost all my respect, he did.

macpac is right. I like John Force and think he has been a great success for drag racing. Taking a dive for his teammate shows it's all about money. That is why I have lost interest in nascar. Racing would be better off the way it was. Winners and Losers. Lack of integrity!

so.....no one who watches F1 has EVER heard of team orders? what about a sacrifice fly ball in baseball? in any sport where teams have to help each other and sometimes one person has to take a loss or a lesser finishing position for the benefit of another team mate or the team as a whole, it happens all the time. you mean a basket ball player has never drawn a foul to help the team? john force has an obligation to each of his teams and his sponsors to give each and every one of them the best opportunity he can to have the best chance at the best shot at progressing throught he season and towards the highest championship points position finish they can have. SIMPLE! he has the job of doing whatever it takes to make sure each of his teams and their sponsors advance through the season as far as they can. this was not john forces doing. it was the doing of the stupid idiots that devised a point system much like nascar, that only selects a few that will battle for the points chamionship at the end of the season. now if mark martin lets dale jr pass him for a position on the track at one of the last races before the chase, and that position puts jr in the chase, are you all going to bad mouth mark martin? john force put EVERY ONE of his teams in the final count down to the nhra championship. AND the car he helped to advance WON the championship. the car he helped win was driven by his son in law and defeated another team car driven by HIS OWN DAUGHTER for the championship. you cant say the man doesn't do the sport justice. so just calm down! what do you think john force feels is worse? listening to you people bitch, or listening to ford and auto club asking why he failed to give them a favorable result to a situation he had complete control over? DUH!!!

Its not that Force takes a dive its that after he does it he lies and says he didn't.
Ashleys first career win was against him in the finals and his reaction time was .17 his worst of the year.
He throws last years races to get Hight into the chase (then title) and when Tony P. calls him on it
he wants to fight. If he wouldn't have brought his car to the line against Hight I would still watch the sport.
Its the LIEING I dont like, not that he has a team agenda. Feels like Richard Nixon. He turned a sport
into a joke.

So, then, Jackhammer, you must really be intrigued with Corporate America, taking over all racing to fit their own agenda. You must be really intrigued with money. You aremore than likely a Republican, probably a lawyer, a human resources type, you know, one that sells their soul for money.

Dale Earnhardt, Sr. was blocking for Mikey and Dale, Jr. when he died at Daytona. Think not?
He was making sure that once of the cars that he owned won the race; unfortunately, it cost him his life. Sterling Marlin would never have bumped him and started his spin IF he didn't move his car around in front of Sterling to try and protect his team cars' position....
Don't like Force and his tactics? That's OK, but like others have noted, it happens a lot in other racing sports. Team orders are especially prevalent in FI and sports car racing.....

I don't care about team orders or tactics, just don't lie to the fans after you throw a race
and say you didn't. Its the LIEING thats the problem.

When did this loyalty to money and more importantly, lieing, take over from true hard work? Too achieve the ultimate victory, through experience, dedication and INTEGRITY. The problem with today's racing. More and more, it is really sickening me. force( note no capital letters-due to disrespect) was once an idol-now he's nothing better than a lawyer that..............
