Not sure where you're getting your insider information, but running a GSC along with a Civil War show would present time problems. Assuming about 20 cars for GSC and 30 cars for Civil War, means 50 cars of qualifying and thats just assuming some drivers wouldnt do double duty. Also I don't think the dwarves would reschedule as its their first race of the year and also the first race of their silver and gold series.

Would be interesting to see happen, also don't think Placerville is the place to do it with its small stands. I doubt they would cover the cost of paying out a GSC and Civil War purse in one night. Only way to do it would be to raise ticket prices. And it's already a stretch for a family of 4 for a GSC race

You can find this track anywhere toys are sold and there is no need for a fire crew since these bad boys run at room temperature.I guess I should have typed MINI in bold.Later Kiddies!

Reschedule the Mini hahaha... Did you see how much they WERE going to pay the winner each night? Dont think this is going to happen. This race went from an Outlaw race to a non sactioned race then to a no race..... I think it went down exactlly how Handy wanted it to go down...

I wonder if any of you guys who are bashing alan were actually there in chico on friday or saturday? Cause my family and i went up wednesday and the pits were already bad enough that day, alan worked for a good three or so hours thrusday to work them in so they could hold the haulers, friday during the day it did rain pretty good to cancel the show and did any of you go see the pits on saturday to walk them? so you guys dont know how bad they really were i personally didnt but one of my great friends did he walked 15 feet and walked right back wouldnt go any further if he was sinking already so how could a 2,000 pound machine not sink and get stuck. I talked to alan and this was the least thing he wanted to happen last weekend was to cancel the mini he wanted to have this show like there was no tomorrow. How do you feel cheated dirty530?

That was a good post Little D. Though I live in a different part of the state, I believe you are right in that Mr. Handy wanted to get the race in the books. Why the "woody" for Mr. Handy?
