The complaining about the tires has ended. The racing has been AMAZING!

The King is back. That's not good for the competition Smile

Sides is still one of the top cars every night.

The new guys Wolfe and Hafertepe are fast they just need some luck. The future of the sport is bright.

Nobody is dominating. I think we can all agree that is nice.

I can't wait for I-55. Smile

With all the different winners so far, I think the championship race is going to be very interesting. I just hope it continues the rest of the year.

The racing isn't amazing because of the tires, it's because of the double file restart.

I give the tires credit but Hooka60 is right. Double file restarts are what makes the races now. It puts the cars closer together rather than stringing them out a whole front stretch.

Amazing how quiet the board gets when all the news is positive.

The fast guys are still fast...the also there are still also there just like always.

It's nice to see there really aren't any negative issues (although I do personally despise Good Year tires) with the tires except for the guys that used to get Hoosiers free now have to buy tires like the rest of us always had to and whine about it like we should feel sorry for them......

I know how Nascar could get credit for the double file restart now but we had that in the eighties when I started racing. Someone decided single file was the way to go and now some finally realize just how much single file restarts suck and always have. I think the best restart system to let the leader by himself and double up after that though.

I will give Nascar credit for screwing up some sprint car races with the "Lucky Dog" like the IRA uses ......what a joke that whole thing is. Free pass at a sprint car event...What the hell is that all about?

Now when they get rid of that open red crap so fuel stops are no longer even a consideration and the races should be of the same quality we remember back in the older days before trailers with lounges came into the sport. Run out of fuel, lose the race. Seems pretty simple, straightforward, and logical.

For the first time in a few years I am looking forward to attending a few races again.....Hopefully the promoters will find the keys for the water truck earlier than two hours before the race is scheduled to start so we can have a decent racing surface and the graders can stay parked during the evening. If I want to see grader races I'll work on a road crew.

Nothing wrong with Goodyears, never was. The ones bitching are the ones who aren't smart enough to know any difference or too young to know what used to be the tire for the WoO.

I like the double-file restarts too, makes it more interesting.

As for watering the track perhaps certain posters might like to find out who's in charge of the way the track is prepped when the WoO comes to a track. Hint: It ain't the track people.

I love people who have no idea complaining about something because it's not like it was 187 years ago. This is 2010. Time to wake up and join the 21st century.

Guys are still complaining about the tires but not as much. Some have realized that they need to try them first. It's a shame how some of the tire suppliers even think the tires are junk. LOL!

Some Outlaw teams are still complaining but not as much. Having double file restarts allows a guy starting last a chance to win more than it did with single file restarts. Any idiot can/will see that. The tires have nothing, and I repeat, NOTHING to do with the good racing. If Hoosiers were on the cars, the racing would be just as good as it is right now.

Have to go by what I read on here.

It "appears" the quality of racing has improved from last year.

Really don't care what "has caused this" as long as it continues! Smile

I bet you're going to see a lot less "taking rubber" race tracks now that there is a double file restart. The first time Schatz, Kinser or Saldana have to start on the outside of a rubber down track and the freight train of cars pass them by before they can get to the bottom should make for an interesting night.

The double file restarts add to the "excitement" level for sure. But eventually it's going to lead to more horrific crashes and likely an extra obituary till the year is over. This is NOT nascar people. These are open wheel cars. Jamming a wad of cars in the first turn repeatily show after show is NOT going to have positive results night after night. Remember this post when the inevitable happens.

I sure hope you are wrong PaPosse, I realize the double file restarts do raise the "pucker factor" somewhat, but they doing this for a living and will probably treat it like the pro's they are. Now to add a little more excitement, implement a passing point system.

This is the best start to the Outlaw season in years. I'm sure some of the races will be ho-hum once they hit the dog days of summer but even at that the side by side restarts will make it better. As for the Goodyears, the sky isn't falling like some said it would. So far I'd give WRG and the WoO a "B+"!

A little overly dramatic to claim that double file restarts are going to lead to an inevitable fatality, no? Not to be ghoulish here, but how many fatal accidents even occur as the cars are getting back up to speed on restarts? The Northeast Modifieds have used double file restarts forever, and it has not led to the widespread carnage people are predicting on here.
