He's been running the 45x for a number of years now.

It's the car and number that he used to run when he first appeared on the WoO trail years ago. It was owned by his dad, Joe.
Joe eventually was part of Avenger Chassis; it may still be his Dad's car.......

It's his car (45x) and I think he's only running the 2 at Knoxville. At least that was what he did last year in the 2.

Herrera isn't running the Woodward 2 at Knoxville....they are going to be doing a "true outlaw" schedule and if $$$ can be found, a much more aggressive schedule. They will be racing together very soon.
The 45x is his (and his dads) race team and he runs that from time to time.

Hi Sean, are you going to USA tomorrow night? I might be coming down, but I don't know yet.
The 45X Sprinter has been Joe's ( his dad ) car for well over 20 years, and it's won it's share of championships with some top notch drivers like Rickey Hood at the wheel when Johnny was gone... Joe should get into the hall of fame some day, he even ran the 45x # on a dirt Super mod that he raced back in the 70's.
Whoops almost forgot, Martha, Johnny's mother, has been there as well.

To update this, Johnny finished 4th in the B to make the transfer to the A, then progressed from a 22nd place start to finish 15th.

Will the #2 car look the same as last year? Anyone got a pic? I met Johnny last year and he is a very nice guy. I wish him the best of luck this season!
