Reasons to race or watch at Ark-La-Tex this Sunday:
1. Warmest weather of the whole weekend!
2. But not too hot for a day race. (almost 70 -- beautiful!)
3. Lots of room to race, pass and go side-by-side and with lots of winter moisture in the track and these cooler spring temps, great track conditions will prevail!
4. Get tuned-up for the Qwik Race Cars Spring Nationals set for two weeks from now (27th-28th). A Qwik Race Cars Limited Modified chassis will be given away to any registered driver in any class that weekend!
5. The finals of the Qwik Race Cars Spring Nationals will also be a Sunday afternoon/evening race!
6. If you race a Limited Modified, Factory Stock or Pro-Mod, the 2010 points season begins. Great awards this year put up by EZ Rental, All-point Systems and Day Motorsports!
7. Modifieds -- in addition to racing for $600 to win and $100 to start THIS week, get set-up for the $1500 to win at the QRC Spring Nats and later in the year, the $5000 to win Doug Murphrey Memorial, the $2000 to win USMTS Speedweek finale, the Comp Cams Summer Nationals, the Harvey Toyota Ark-La-Tex Championship, etc., etc. 2010 will be a big year for Open Wheel Modifieds at Ark-La-Tex Speedway!
8. Pro-Mods -- make your debut in the very first race in this new class for the ArkLaTex. It'll grow and spread just like the Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks and Beginner Cruiser classes have!
9. Pro-Mods -- pays $300 to win and $100 JUST to START this Sunday!
10. Limited Modifieds -- some of you will have the option of racing in two features! If you finish far enough up in the EZ Rental Limited Modified feature which will go early in the A-main schedule of events, you can bolt on 4 tread-less asphalt pull-offs (just like the Factory Stocks run!) and also race in the Day Motorsports Pro-Mod feature which pays $100 just to start. That'll pay for your first set of tires!
11. Limited Modifieds -- get a set-up for that $1000 to win at the QRC Spring Nats!
12. Factory Stocks -- get a set-up for the $500 to win at the QRC Spring Nats and an early set-up for the 'granddaddy of them all', the $5000-to-win, 6th annual Cajun Classic in October!
13. Super/Hot/Street/Southern/Hobby Stock -- get a set-up for the $500 to win QRC Spring Nats!
14. Regular prices at both gates and NO entry fees! NO entry fees for the QRC Spring Nats either.
15. We're the only place racing this Sunday for miles around.
16. NO NASCAR on the tube this week! Hopefully, nobody will do what Carl Edwards did to Brad Kesolowski last week!
17. It's Ark-La-Tex Speedway! Great facility, great atmosphere and great racing!!

Last night in Texarkana, it was a big night for the Natchitoches-Many Louisiana drivers as Kyle Pleasant topped a field of 34 Modifieds for $1200 and Bob Kellogg won the Limited Mod A-main worth $800.
Today it's just a $25 pit pass and $10 to get in the grandstands for adults at Ark-La-Tex.
Come see what happens this afternoon and evening at Ark-La-Tex. I promise it'll be warmer!
