I am sad to say that at 4:30 today Dad lost his long and hard fight as he passed away. He will be buried at the National Cemetery Ft Smith, Ar. funeral arrangements pending.

Be sure and check your life Insurance policies if they were bought years ago and they have been paid off. His burial insurance went void in 2008 when he turned 80 and we did not have any idea is was not still good. That was a hell of a surprise minutes after he passed away. And then today we find out that since we moved him to Edmond with us and did not tell them where he was living yearly the policy would have been voided anyway. What damn difference does it make anyway the policy was paid off 15 years ago.
And the hardest part was we found out about this situation as he was in the process of passing away. So check you burial policies a family should not have to go through this..
Again the family sends their thanks for all of the support and prayers in this chapter of our lives.
